Prayers again please

Gosh, I hate to keep pestering my friends and family for prayers, but last night Eric took me to the emergency room because something was seriously wrong with my stomach. I was in excruciating pain and didn't know what was wrong with me. Come to find out, I have 3-4 gallstones in my gall bladder and am afraid I'll have to have surgery to have my gall bladder removed. I have an appointment tomorrow at 12:15 to see the surgeon. I'm not worried about it as this thing happens to so many people and it's a common procedure anymore. I guess this is the right time to give up fatty, fried foods. Darn. Ha ha....

Gosh I feel like I'm falling apart! LOL!

Girl, if it's not one thing it's another w/ you. I'm praying they can go in an zap those stones, so you don't have to go through surgery. Hang in and know I'm praying for you.

I thought I was the only one falling apart. Don't worry, having your gallbladder out isn't that bad. I had it done...and I enjoyed the time off.

At least you found out before one of the stones got caught trying to pass. That is what happened to me, and I thought I was having a heart attack.

Your in my prayers. Have you had a follow-up about your mammagram yet?

Love ya,
Kristi

Ooh, many hugs. I had a close call with mine too, apparently it's VERY common after pregnancy! Good luck, thankfully the surgery can be done outpatient, you'll only have the teeniest scar and be home the same day!

Oh, and LOVE the PT gallery for Dec. Great job!

Theresa, I had the same thing happen to me. I felt like I was having a heart attack. Went to the dr and they didn't realize how much pain I was in but scheduled tests. I immediately went to the ER afterward and was in surgery within a couple of hours and home the next day (asthma complications requiring overnight stay). You will get instant relief. Praying for you. Hugs! I had mine out about two years ago. Piece of cake. Out patient procedure. 3 teeny holes. I was back to work in a week. Tired easily but no real pain. Made a big difference!
